It was that time of day, coffee time. Iced Coffee in fact. At that moment, I saw inspiration as to what might work well on canvas. You guessed it, coffee!
After many trials and tribulations, to make sure actual coffee would behave with the paint and acrylic; sure enough, it worked!
Whilst I jiggled the pouring pot, much like you would a milk jug; there was a ribboning effect on the canvas. From this, I could see what I saw earlier that day in my glass; a mixture of swirls with light coffee colors, melting ice mixing with milk along with my energy levels lifting as the caffeine kicked in.
After my iced latte on canvas dried, it was time to varnish. This mixed with the dried undertones of real coffee my creation was almost bulletproof.
